No data collected — ever

NeckPlay is a neck exercise game that uses your phone's front camera to track head movements. This policy explains what happens with that data. The short answer: nothing leaves your device.

Camera

NeckPlay uses the front-facing camera to detect your head position and translate it into in-game controls. Face detection runs entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework (iOS) and Google ML Kit (Android).

No video or images are recorded.
No frames are stored on disk.
No camera data is transmitted anywhere.
The camera is only active while a game session is running.

Data We Collect

We collect no personal data of any kind. Specifically:

No name, email, or account information.
No location data.
No device identifiers.
No analytics or crash reporting.
No advertising identifiers.

Local Storage

NeckPlay saves your high scores, settings, and daily reminder time locally on your device using the operating system's standard storage. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, NeckPlay schedules a local notification on your device at your chosen time. This is handled entirely by the operating system — no server is involved.

Third-Party Services

NeckPlay does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only third-party libraries used are:

Google ML Kit Face Detection (Android) — runs fully on-device. No data is sent to Google. ML Kit Terms
Apple Vision Framework (iOS) — a built-in Apple framework. No data is sent to Apple.

Children

NeckPlay does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing to collect.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date at the top.
